They form a closed-loop system: if there are shifts in demand or supplier delays, MPS updates the plan, and MRP adjusts its calculations to accommodate the changes.

An effective coordination between Material Requirements Planning (MRP) and Master Production Schedule (MPS) systems offers significant advantages:
