Emergency Care Technician Course Details
Emergency Care Technicians are trained to respond quickly to medical emergencies and provide pre-hospital critical care to patients. The Emergency Medical Technicians (EMTs) course is in high demand at all hospitals and nursing homes. The modules will train the students to handle all kinds of critical and health emergency situations such as accidents, burns, heart failure, etc in a pre-hospital setup. As a skilled EMT professional, individuals will have to manage the sick or injured person and then shift him or her to a medical facility.
Emergency Care Technician will cover the following topics
मूल पाठ्यक्रम पाठ्यक्रम:
- Introduction to emergency medical care – Trauma and Emergency casualty
- Basic life support and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) protocols
- Emergency room preparation & Isolation procedures
- Machinery, Equipment and Linen management: Surgical, Diagnostic evaluation and acute care set ups
- Patient management in different emergency conditions- cardio, cerebra, soft tissue injury, bleeding and shock etc.
- Patient monitoring and safety procedures - Do’s and Don’ts
उन्नत पाठ्यक्रम पाठ्यक्रम:
- Emergency care An overview: Basic Approach to the Emergency Medical Patient & Trauma Patient: Primary survey (ABCDE); secondary survey
- ABC- An Introduction and Deep dive Common breathing pathologies, Oxygenation and Ventilation basics, Assessment of shock using U/S (IVC, RUSH protocol) etc., Cardiac arrest review (ACLS), Treatment of cardiogenic shock
- Trauma- Primary & Secondary Jaw thrust/C-spine immobilization, Needle Decompression, Chest Tube Placement, eFAST assessment
- Diagnostic modalities: Point-of-care ultrasound skills for traumatic injuries, circulatory collapse, ocular pathology etc
- Patient management in emergency scenarios of Cardiac, Obstetrician-Gynaecologist (OBG), Neonates, pediatrics and cerebrovascular

- अवधि: 2 weeks of in-person training on simulator @ Tech Mahindra Foundation SMART Academy + 60 day LMS access

- वितरण: Hands-on using the Simulators/equipments
- अवधि: एलएमएस के लिए 60 दिनों का एक्सेस + 3 दिन का ऑनसाइट इमर्शन ट्रेनिंग + संदेह के समाधान के लिए 2 दिन का इन-पर्सन सेशन
