Radiology Technician Course Details
The Radiology or X-ray & Imaging Technology course trains students to work as radiology technicians in radiology departments of hospitals, diagnostic centres and clinics. They learn radiology physics involving the application of physics concepts, methods and theories to medicines. After the training, they are equipped for better medical imaging techniques using high-end imaging equipment like CT scanners, MRI scanners.
Radiology Technician will cover the following topics

- Introduction to X-ray, Computed Tomography (CT) & Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MR) Equipment overview
- Patient preparation, positioning and equipment handling as per Procedure
- Basics of Contrast media administration techniques
- Image acquisition techniques and scanning protocols for different procedures
- Radiation safety considerations & Dose optimization techniques
- Volumetric Image post processing and clinical applications of X-ray, CT & MR
- Identification of Artefacts in X-ray, Computed Tomography (CT) & MRI Imaging

- Introduction to X-ray, CT & MR Imaging Equipment overview and System components
- CT: Patient preparation, positioning and equipment handling for cardiac and vascular applications etc. Advances in CT Imaging & Applications for Cardiac, perfusion Imaging
- MR: General safety, s/m operation and scanning, image optimization techniques(T1/T2/PD), Recent Advances in MRI Imaging & Applications Processing in MRI for Functional, DTI, Spectro, Perfusion
- Advantage Workstation Browser, Archiving, Networking, Viewer/Layout Manager / Tools / Measurements, Data Export etc
- Volumetric Image post processing and clinical applications of X-ray, CT & Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MR), Volume Viewer (MPR, MPVR, MIP, 3D Basics) Set up & Identification of Artefacts in X-ray, Computed Tomography (CT) & Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) and their remedies
- Pharmacology of Contrast Media, Administration & Related Adverse Events Recent

- अवधि: सिम्युलेटर पर 2 सप्ताह का व्यक्तिगत प्रशिक्षण @ टेक महिंद्रा फाउंडेशन स्मार्ट अकादमी + 60 दिवसीय लर्निंग मैनेजमेंट सिस्टम (एलएमएस) एक्सेस
1 वर्ष के कार्य अनुभव के साथ हेल्थकेयर तकनीशियन या पैरामेडिक्स के लिए
- वितरण: हैंड्स-ऑन एप्लीकेशन: अस्पतालों में इमर्शन ट्रेनिंग और पोस्ट प्रोसेसिंग सॉफ्टवेयर (AW सर्वर) का उपयोग करना
- अवधि: एलएमएस के लिए 60 दिनों का एक्सेस + 3 दिन का ऑनसाइट इमर्शन ट्रेनिंग + 2 दिन का इन-पर्सन सेशन फॉर डाउट क्लियरिंग।
