Are you a community-based organisation working at the grassroots level? Join hands in the initiative driven by Tech Mahindra Foundation in partnership with OneSight EssilorLuxottica Foundation to bring quality eye care and entrepreneurship opportunities to underserved regions.
Through the Eye Connect Technician Program, we aim to identify and empower aspiring individuals (aged 21–45, minimum 10th pass) to become trained Vision Care Entrepreneurs. We need your on-ground support in spreading the word and identifying, these future changemakers is key to helping them build sustainable livelihoods.

EYE CONNECT TECHNICIAN PROGRAM
As an organization, Tech Mahindra Foundation believes in promoting entrepreneurs who work and contribute in the field of Healthcare. Among the various areas of healthcare, eye care has become a focal point with significant potential for improvement and innovation. Uncorrected refractive errors (URE) are the second leading cause of preventable blindness globally. The Eye Connect Technician Program aims to provide a crucial solution by training youth to become skilled technicians and entrepreneurs, setting up micro-enterprises that offer essential vision correction services to underserved populations.
To address this growing need, the Eye Connect Technician Program has been introduced, bridging the gap in access to quality eye care while empowering local youth through skill development and entrepreneurship. This initiative is designed to equip aspiring youth with the expertise, knowledge, and entrepreneurial support required to pursue successful careers in eye care. By creating a network of well-trained technicians, the program will meet the increasing demands of the eye care sector, fostering local entrepreneurs and contributing to the advancement and accessibility of eye care services.
SMART INCUBATION CENTRE FOR ALLIED HEALTHCARE ENTREPRENEURS
The Indian Healthcare sector has evolved tremendously in the past decade and today, it is a sea of opportunity for entrepreneurs. Among the key contributors to the growth of the Indian Healthcare scenario are the rising income levels, health awareness, change in lifestyle and many more.
Looking at the changing patterns in the healthcare industry, Tech Mahindra Foundation has introduced the SMART Incubation Centre for Allied Healthcare Entrepreneurs. The Incubation Program will focus on providing allied healthcare graduates and entrepreneurs with a comprehensive range of support services including business support, incubator space, networking, clustering and funding opportunities.

The eligibility is diploma or graduation in Medical Lab Technology.
Yes, the program is open for all the existing students and alumni of Tech Mahindra SMART Academies for Healthcare.
Yes, the program is open for all MLT graduates or diploma holders.
Tech Mahindra Foundation in collaboration with the Institute of Rural Management Anand will be designing the workshop curriculum.
The duration of the workshop is 2 weeks.
The program will help you start setting up and managing your entrepreneurial setup within select Medical Laboratory Technology space.
As part of the program, we will connect you with the leading pathology labs of the country.
