Key Learning Modules of Advanced Critical Care Technician Course
- Critical care equipment overview
- Oxygen therapy in ICU including assisting in invasive ventilation and blood flow with capnography
- ICU protocols about analgesia, sedation, DVT, glvcemic control and waste management
- Drugs used in ICU
- ABG interpretation, Interpretation of cardiac monitor
- CVP and arterial line transducer.
- Infection control and isolation procedures
Delivery & Duration:
- Online video lesson on-demand via GEHC LMS for 2 months
- Q&A with expert trainer – 10 hours
- Hands-on simulator training in-person format in TMF academy – 2 weeks
- 3 days of immersion training @Center of excellence site (to be fixed by GE)
