The American Heart Association’s (AHA) Heartsaver First Aid & CPR Course Objective and Curriculum
Heartsaver First Aid is a classroom, video-based, instructor-led course that teaches candidates critical skills to respond & to manage an emergency in the first few minutes until Emergency Medical Services (EMS) arrives. In this course, students learn skills such as how to treat bleeding, sprains, broken bones, shock & other first aid emergencies along with hands-on training.
Heartsaver CPR AED course includes the latest international guidelines on resuscitation & helps to improve the survival rate in any emergency conditions. The learner will receive the course completion e-card within 24 to 48 hours after successful completion of the course with two years of international validity on course attainment, which will earn global recognition & contribute to an eminent career.
The curriculum of the Heartsaver First Aid & CPR course will cover the following topics:
- Learn to perform CPR and use an AED for Adults, Child and Infants in a safe and effective manner
- First Aid Basics
- How to respond and manage a sudden cardiac arrest or choking emergency
- Fosters grounding knowledge on Opioid-associated life-threatening emergencies
