Tech Mahindra SMART Academy for Healthcare, Pune,is organizing a webinar on the topic ‘Say No to Smoke- from Awareness to Action’ for all the healthcare alumni, partners,students, and trainers across all our healthcare academies. The speaker, Dr Madhu Oswal, an experienced family physician with 20 years of experience, will discuss the various effects of tobacco intake and on churning awareness activities to actionable targets to eradicate the use of tobacco and role of paramedics in creating the impact.
स्पीकर प्रोफाइल
Dr. Madhu Oswal is a seasoned family physician with over 20 years of clinical experience. A dedicated healthcare professional, she has made significant contributions to public health, particularly in the fields of HIV/AIDS and addiction counselling.
She is the Founder Member and current President of the Muktaa Charitable Foundation, under which she spearheads the SAMVAD HIV/AIDS Helpline, a critical initiative offering support and information to individuals affected by HIV.
Dr. Oswal serves on the Community Advisory Board of the National AIDS Research Institute (NARI), and also associated as a Visiting HIV Medical Officer with both DISHA तथा Sahara Palliative Care Centre
An advocate for evidence-based practice, Dr. Oswal has co-authored three books aimed at guiding general practitioners in managing complex medical conditions. Her research and field interests focus on counselling for de-addiction, HIV care, substance use disorders, और behavioral addictions.
