Speaker Profile
A distinguished Medical Microbiologist, Dr. Samir Pachpute currently serves as Professor, Department of Microbiology brings over 23 years of extensive experience in Clinical Microbiology, Molecular Diagnostics, Medical Education, and Public Health. Holding dual specializations in Medical Microbiology and Pathology, along with a Ph.D. in Medical Microbiology, his work is at the forefront of nanotechnology-based tuberculosis diagnostics.
Dr. Pachpute currently serves as the IQAC Director at MGM Medical College, Kamothe, and is a NABL Lead and Technical Assessor in Microbiology, Serology, and Molecular Biology. He has been a key driver in achieving NABL and NABH accreditations across several institutions, setting up robust quality systems, SOPs, and laboratory best practices.
An acclaimed academician and mentor, he actively guides students across MBBS, MD, MDS, and Allied Health Sciences programs. His research footprint spans infectious diseases, parasitology, cardiac biomarkers, and nanobiotechnology, and he has served as a Principal Investigator and Co-investigator on multiple prestigious national and international projects.
