Speaker Profile

Dr. Rinku Bhatia is a seasoned expert in Transfusion Medicine with over two decades of experience across leading hospitals in Mumbai. Her core expertise spans apheresis, blood component preparation, and quality control, making her a leading voice in ensuring safe and efficient blood banking practices.

She has personally performed over 2,000 plateletpheresis and 100+ peripheral blood stem cell (PBSC) procedures, many of which were pioneering efforts in the private healthcare sector. Dr. Bhatia has played a vital role in supporting critical transplants and emergency care through her work in operationalizing high-quality blood services.

An MBBS and D.P.B. by qualification, she is also a Gold Medalist in Hospital Administration and holds NABH auditor training, bringing both clinical and administrative leadership to her roles. She has consistently led initiatives in regulatory compliance, patient safety, and quality improvement in blood banking.
