Our Paramedical Institutes
Change is constant and as the world changes, the healthcare industry also evolves to cater to the changing needs and provided care. With the increase in population, health-related problems, the number of epidemics and pandemics across the globe, the demand for skilled healthcare professionals has increased.
As per the report (2012) of Public Health Foundation of India, the country was facing a shortage of 64.1 lakh healthcare professionals, while the Ministry of Labour and Employment report (2015-16), the unemployment rate increased to 5 percent. Thus, to provide a common remedy to both the problems, Tech Mahindra Foundation launched the first SMART Academy for Healthcare in Delhi in the year 2016. The second Healthcare Academy was launched in Mohali in 2017 and the third in Mumbai in the year 2018. These Tech Mahindra SMART Academies for Healthcare are premier healthcare training institutes offer thirteen paramedical courses training youth to become skilled allied healthcare professionals.
Our Presence - Tech Mahindra SMART Academies for Healthcare
At present, five SMART Academies offering paramedical courses and are located in Delhi, Mohali, Mumbai, Navi Mumbai and Pune. These Academies have trained 4931 youth (approx) and have placed them in various healthcare institutes across the nation.
Courses Offered
Across our Academies, students are trained to the highest possible standards manifested from a uniquely drafted course curriculum that is prepared as per the latest industry requirements. Currently, these SMART Healthcare Academies offer five two-year diploma courses (certified by the Indian Medical Association) and nine shorter certificate courses (qualified by the Healthcare Sector Skills Council). Along with the healthcare domain training, the Academies also train students in Foundation courses, which includes English, IT and Soft Skills.

The eligibility norms are different for each of the healthcare courses offered by the SMART Academies. Therefore, we request you to go through the eligibility norms before applying for the course.
Every year, the Tech Mahindra SMART Academies conduct PULSE, a scholarship entrance test where deserving candidates can get up to 100% scholarship. The scholarship is funded by Tech Mahindra Foundation. For more details regarding PULSE Scholarship, click here.

Duration of all the Diploma courses is two years while the Certificate courses are for six months (GDA is four-month).

Each SMART Academy has its Placement Team who makes sure that each student who successfully passes our final exams gets a chance to appear for an interview at a hospital, diagnostic centre, nursing home or clinic.
